The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
