Administration Comments: Celebration and Defense
The nation's top prosecutor proclaimed that Maduro and his wife face charges in a New York court, including conspiracy related to drug terrorism, cocaine importation, and weapons violations. "They will in due course confront the full wrath of US law on American soil," the declaration said. It finished by commending the commander-in-chief for seeking accountability and thanking the brave armed forces for a successful mission.
"Maduro is NOT the President of Venezuela... He is the head of a drug trafficking organization... and he is under indictment for pushing narcotics into the America," stated the US Secretary of State.
